Adverbs or Adjectives?

Adjectives are used to modify nouns.They describe how something "is".For this reason, we usually use the verb 'to be' when using adjectives.

e.g: The dog is loud.

Adverbs are used to modify verbs, adjectives or other adverbs.They tell you how something is done.

e.g:The dog barks loudly.
